Carmen has been involved in salsa for a number of years. She is a well respected and experienced salsa dancer with a background in Jazz ballet where she performed for various reputable schools.  Salsa was a dance that had completely moved and inspired her. She has dedicated her time and efforts to learning all forms of latin dance. Her obession with dance naturally lead her to take classes 5 times a week for 4 years in which she developed her expertise in the field of dancing.
She is proficient in styles of dance such as the Bachata, Salsa,  Zumba and many other forms of latin dance. Carmen has also participated in competition dancing and performance groups.
Carmen was self determined to succeed, that at a stage she was attending salsa socially 7 days a week. This gave her the opportunity to gain the ability and learn many dance moves from the street level dancers.
Carmen enjoys to dance a mixture of Cuban and LA Style. A highly recommended combination of both technical and feeling movement directly from the heart.
She has attended world class workshops and incorporates her own flavour into her dance. Great dancers are not great because of technique, but rather they are good because the passion that they dance with, Carmen is definitely no exception to this rule.
Her commitment to dance has been proven in her achievements. She has won Bachata state finals in 2010 group division and placed runners up in  the national titles.
Carmen also assisted instructing for numerous schools. She finds sharing her ability a positive and enjoyable experience. She is very grateful to her teachers personally for the opportunity.
